Bootleg Bagels was started and operated by Ben Bullock, a chef in fine dining for over 20 years, when he had to find a new path in life once Covid-19 entered our world. Tasked with being the wrangler of small children when school went online and childcare closed, he decided to sling bagels out of his house and found it to be an unexpected need in the community. Using skills learned in various restaurants and deep dives into research, he found a successful medium in bagels that has even those raised on the east coast ordering batch after batch!
